Kolkata Metro: Metro Services Reduced Across Kolkata on Vishwakarma Puja

Metro rail services have been reduced on the Vishwakarma Puja. Here are the full details of metro services on this occasion.

Vishwakarma Puja will be observed on Tuesday, September 17. On this day, many government schools, colleges, and offices remain closed. Because of that, metro services will be reduced on different routes. There are usually 288 services on the North-South metro route. However, on Tuesday, there will be 262 metro services.

However, the first and last metro timings will remain the same. The first metro from Dum Dum to Kavi Subhash and from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar will depart at 6:50 AM. The first metro from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash is scheduled to depart at 7:00 AM. The first metro from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineswar and Dum Dum to Dakshineswar will leave at 6:55 AM. Additionally, the last metro from the respective terminal stations will depart at 9:40 PM and 9:28 PM. The special night service metro will depart from both terminals at 10:40 PM.

However, the metro authorities have stated that services on Green Line 1, Line 2, Purple Line, and Orange Line will remain as usual.
