Jisshu and Srijit have been friends for a long time and have made numerous films together. Jisshu will again be cast in two of Srijit’s upcoming movies. The title of the movie on Chaitanya has not yet been decided. Names like ‘Gouranger Sandhane’ and ‘Gourango Itikatha’ have come up. We need to wait for the name to be finalised.
Jisshu Sengupta became a household name since the age of 19 after he appeared in a mega serial on Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and he still believes that mythology and history cater to everyone. Sibashish Banerjee is researching on the concepts of the upcoming film but Srijit himself will do the dialogues and screenplay.
Jisshu has promised to take the film to the next level. The shooting for film will possibly start next year as Srijit is tied up with his ongoing projects.
