How can you address dry skin issues at home during winter? How should you care for your hands and feet during this season? Beautician Preena Jaiswal shares her skincare suggestions.

How to Prevent Dry Skin in Winter?
Start a winter skincare routine early to avoid dry skin issues. Glycerin is one of the most important ingredients for this. It also helps brighten the skin. Petroleum jelly can also relieve dryness.

Home Remedies:
1. In a bowl, mix 2 teaspoons glycerin, 2 teaspoons aloe vera gel, and 1 teaspoon rose water. Apply this mixture to your face. Rinse off with cold water. This remedy will make your skin radiant.

2. Dry orange peels in sunlight and make a paste. Mix 1 teaspoon of orange peel with a suitable amount of honey. Then apply it to your face. This face pack helps remove tan and brightens the skin.

3. At the start of winter, seasonal fruits can be used as face packs. For example, banana paste can be applied to the skin to reduce dryness. Additionally, yogurt and tomatoes are very beneficial for maintaining healthy skin during winter.

Skincare Mistakes to Avoid:

Avoid using face wash every day during winter. It can make the skin even drier. Use a face wash every other day to help your skin stay more moisturized.

Audience Question:

Should powder be used in winter?
Powder-based makeup can be used in winter, but apply a sufficient amount of moisturizer to the skin beforehand.
