YouTube creates a platform for new age poems

How to put your thoughts into words? In simple language, if one has to say, the best way is to pen down the words and add a touch of emotion, action and drama. That is what some new poets are doing in social media platforms. The poems are filled with drama, action and meaningful lines that seem to be touching the lives of millions. These young talents are coming up with topics that touch people’s hearts. These budding poets are now touching the souls of millions.

Some YouTube poets are voicing their opinion in an enthusiastic tone. To name a few are, ‘Aranya Johar’, the 18-year-old Mumbai girl is creating a sensation on YouTube through her poems such as ‘Brown Girl’s Guide to Gender’ and ‘A brown girl’s Guide to Beauty’ - A brilliant piece of work, is spreading a meaningful message in a sarcastic tone.

The other person named Simar Singh has come up with topics that people hardly pay attention to. He spoke about marital rape in his poem titled ‘The legal Rapist’, which has 697k views. The other poem titled ‘The Super Woman’ is an amazing work, which deals women getting married early because of which they seldom get the chance to chase their dreams. To quote a line from his poem, he says: We have arranged lesser education and more marriages.

The list of talented poets does not end here; another one is Yahya Bootwala, whose poem titled ‘Shayad Wo Pyaar Nahi’ has gone viral. His smiling face and brilliant poem has won the hearts of 7.8 million viewers on YouTube.
