It is said that Dev himself will be the main character, and the movie will be directed by Ramkamal Mukherjee. After hearing this speculation, many will think that it is going to be a remake of Satyajit Ray's 'Nayak'. But a source from the Bengali Industry claims that this movie will not be a 'remake'. This movie is planned as a tribute to Saytajit Ray and Mahanayak Uttam Kumar. It is also heard that Actor Dev has had a detailed discussion with Satyajit Ray's son, Sandeep Ray, about the subject of this movie. However, neither Dev nor Director Ramkamal said anything about this movie.
Recently, Director Ramkamal Mukherjee has been working on his upcoming movie, 'Binodini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan'. He is working on the post-production of the movie. But about these speculations, he told the press that he has not finished his work on the movie 'Binodini' yet. But he also said that he thought about a movie.
