Recently, it has been revealed that Idhika Paul, a popular face from Kolkata Television will be playing as the leading lady of Shakib Khan in his upcoming film “Priyotoma” which is being directed by Himel Ashraf. The film is based on the romantic action drama and slated to be released on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Idhika said ,“The opportunity to act in this film came to me suddenly. I was contacted by Shakib’s team and upon reading it I liked the movie and decided to be part of it.”
Everyone already knows that she will be acting with a bangladeshi actor, Shakib Khan. But according to to the Tolly industry, this is not her first film. She has already acted in a film in Kolkata. It is heard that her first performance done in the film produced by actor Soham Chakraborty where Soham itself will be the hero. But none of the actors are talking about their film. Television actress, Idhika is currently busy in her film ‘Priyotama’ in Bangladesh. A lot of talk was going on about this new film.
Initially, Shabnam Bubli was supposed to be Shakib’s heroine in this film, but Bubli dropped out of the film. There is a lot of speculation about this incident. It is believed that Bubi dropped out of this film due to relationship issues with Shakib. However, the actor said that the problem is not about their relationship. Before making this film, Shakib said, “My relationship with Bubli is over. We will never be seen offscreen and never again onscreen.” Although Bubli is willing to give their relationship one more chance. A few days ago, he told to a Bangladeshi media, “I have always given priority to Shakib’s choice. I tried to adapt as he wanted. Working, not working, quitting my job, doing 100 percent of my family — whenever I wanted, I tried to do whatever it took to keep the peace.”
