Nilanjan Mukherjee’s upcoming film ‘Goodbye Venice’ revolves around five long-lost friends—three men and two young girls—who are going to reunite after a road trip in Italy. They will have a life-changing experience on a trip to Italy and will take an unexpected turn soon after their road trip from Milan to Venice, which will surprise the audience. This story is all about how a mature relationship breaks and mends later. What happens at the end of the road trip is what the story is all about.
The film was announced in April, and now the cast name has been revealed. Saurav Das, Darshana Banik, Neel Bhattacharya, and Dibyasha Das are there, and one more actor will join the cast. The film's shooting will start early next year.
The story of the film revolves around five friends who lose contact with each other after college ends. They meet after a long time for a road trip. But where is the fifth friend? According to the director, the film will answer the mystery of the fifth friend. He also said that this film about a road trip will be different from the other films about road trips.
A major part of the shoot will be done in Venice and parts of Rome and Florence, and according to the director, if their plan goes accordingly, then this film will hit theatres next year.
In this film, Arnab Laha will be the Director of Photography (DOP), and Jayabrata Das, the director of the upcoming film ‘Calcutta 99,' will be seen as the creative producer. The music for the film will be composed by Soumya-Rit. And the film will be produced by Queentales Studios.
