Bengali scientist Sumanta Sahu has been named among the world’s top scientists. This is the third time he has earned this prestigious title. Previously, he was featured in the world’s best scientists list in 2021 and 2023.
Every year, Stanford University in California prepares a list of the top 2% of scientists in the world. This list is made based on various innovative discoveries and research contributions. This year, West Medinipur resident Sumanta Sahu has been included in that list. He is an alumnus of Midnapore College and Vidyasagar University.
Sumanta has been conducting long-term research on supercapacitors used in batteries. He has published close to 100 research papers in both national and international journals.
Additionally, one of his papers earned the Best Poster Award at the 21st International Symposium on Clean Technology in 2021. And now his name is once again listed among the world’s top scientists.
