WBJEE RESULTS 2024: Joint Entrance Exam Result Declared, How Well Did Students Score?

The results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) were announced on Thursday. The Joint Board announced that a press conference would be held at Salt Lake's Saltlake Building on Thursday, June 6, at noon to announce the results to the media. After that, candidates could check their results on the website wbjeeb.nic.in from 4 p.m.

So, how did the Joint Entrance Exam of 2024 go? It was revealed at the press conference that the names of the top ten candidates were announced by the board chairman. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBHSC) and CBSE candidates were found to be highly competitive. Among the top ten performers are two ISCE board students, four WBHSC students, and four CBSE students.

Now, let us look at the top scorers in the 2024 WBJEE.

2) Subhadeep Pal - Kalyani Experimental High School (WBHSC)
3) Bibaswan Biswas - Kalyani Bishop Morrow School (ISCE)
4) Iradri Basu Khanda - Darjeeling Public School (CBSE)
5) Mayukh Biswas - South Point (CBSE)
6) Ritam Banerjee - Tribeni Vidhyapith (ISCE)
7) Abhik Das - McWilliam Higher Secondary School (WBHSC)
8) Atharva Singhania - Delhi Public School (CBSE)
9) Shounak Kar - Scottish Church Collegiate School (WBHSC)

10) Bijit Moish - Narendrapur Vidyamandir International School (CBSE)

However, there are no female students among the top ten scorers.

After announcing the candidates' names today, the board chairman extended his congratulations to the successful candidates. Besides, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also congratulated them on social media.

The date for counseling has not been announced yet by the board. According to sources, eligible candidates will be informed after seeing the complete list.
