The results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) for the year 2024 will be announced this month on Thursday afternoon, said the Joint Board on Wednesday.
It is reported that the results of the entrance exam will be published on Thursday afternoon. The board plans to conduct a press conference at 2:30 p.m. to announce the results. At 4:00 p.m., candidates will be able to view the results on the board's website.
Last year, in November 2023, the Joint Entrance Board announced the date of the WBJEE exam for the year 2024. This year, the exam was held on April 28th, amid the Lok Sabha elections. Just over a month later, on June 6th, the results of the 2024 Joint Entrance Exam will be published.
On Thursday afternoon, a press conference will be held at the board's building in Salt Lake, Kolkata, named 'Rupanna.' After the announcement, candidates will be able to check their results on the board's website from 4:00 PM onwards. They will receive their rank cards. After that, the board will announce the counselling dates later.
Every year, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board conducts entrance exams for admission to government and private engineering colleges in the state. Qualifying this written exam allows candidates to participate in counselling, where they are informed about their college and subject preferences for admission, as per the board's guidelines.
