Veteran actress Lolita Chatterjee dies at 81

Veteran actress Lolita Chatterjee passed away on Wednesday, 09^th May at 2.35pm in the afternoon. She was 81 years old. She was admitted to a nursing home in Kolkata after suffering a cerebral attack. She debuted as a child actor in the movie ‘Ananya’ in 1949. As an adult, her first movie was ‘Bibhas’ in 1964 with Uttam Kumar. Her last screen presence was in Aditya Vikram Sengupta’s upcoming feature ‘Jonaki’.
