Vehicle restrictions to tackle Kali Puja rush

The Barasat Dak Bungalow road will remain closed for 12 hours from 4pm for four days starting Tuesday, to tackle the Kali Puja rush. There are some traffic restrictions for North Bengal bound vehicles on National Highway- 12 which stretches up to 2km and the restrictions will also be applicable for vehicles which will head for the airport from Barasat. The police officials have decided to place guardrails on NH-12 at Dak Bunglow More and the crossing of Barrackpore road inorder to stop vehicles from entering.
