Director Partha Ganguly, along with electro-world music team ‘Vedatronics’, has presented a rare combination of mystery and colour through the eyes of an urban girl Sunayana, in their musical short film ‘FAAGUN’.
BBC award-winning, internationally-acclaimed percussion virtuoso and music director Abhishek Basu, a well-known pianist and sound producer Avik Ganguly, santoor exponent Chiradip Sarkar and sarangi producer Pankaj Mishra have come together to create vedatronics- 2 years ago. From then on, the whole team have worked together on the interesting project all across the globe, connecting the Vedic age to the modern electronic world.
They have already produced one music video and this will be their second work in the form of a musical short film. Well, one of the interesting aspect of the film is that the costumes are designed by Tejas Gandhi.
