Bengal youth is gaining profits from the government scheme of ‘Utkarsh Bangla’ which was primarily undertaken for the benefit of the socially backward communities. Now they are able to get job just after the completion of their respective courses. This year according to the secretary of the Training and Skill Development Department, about 7,500 students of vocational and technical education have got job placements and they said that in the coming days and months, about a lakh more placement opportunities will be there for the students.
Students from ITIs, polytechnic colleges and other vocational training centres get jobs under the Utkarsh Bangla Scheme and more than 500 companies from across the country are collaborating with the State Government to ensure recruitment of these students.
