Year 2017, has giving the directors and producers of Bengali film industry a mixed feeling. Few are satisfied with the box-office outcome but few are still into the thoughts of reviving themselves up from the trauma of the consequences. Even so called top directors have not left the impression of high satisfaction with the audience response. Their previous works gained more accolades from the critics and the viewers as well.
The best part of Tollywood industry is, they are always thriving for the best and is in the perpetual struggle of attaining the finest. Wonderful scripts are coming up from the newbies as well. Producers are showing interests with the flow of the movies. This is definitely a fringe benefit to the industry.
As we have already reached the last month of the year, we are hoping to give a new start very soon but the ending must be a fabulous one with new releases by eminent directors. Rabi Kinagi, after a long time comes up with a comedy Bengali film “50% love” starring Soham Chakraborty, Ankush Hazra, Sayantika Banerjee. “Pashan” is a romantic Bengali movie by Sudipto Sarkar featuring Bidya Sinha, Om.
