The NRS Medical College and Hospital has recently set up a trolley booth in its premises to do away with the activities of touts who charge money for providing trolleys and wheelchairs to the patients. This step is taken by the administration of the NRS Medical college and hospital to stop the confusion and unnecessary suffering of the patients and their family members in order to hire trolleys. Both trolleys and wheelchairs will be available at the trolley booth of NRS which is situated opposite to the emergency building. The patients or their relatives will now be able to hire trolleys or wheelchairs from the booth by providing necessary information and identifications like the name of the patient and his mobile number. A lot of complaints and allegations were being made by patients about the touts demanding money for trolleys due to which the administration has come up with such an idea. The booth is scheduled to be open 24x7. Initially, 25 trolleys and 4 wheelchairs is available in the booth and the number will increase soon. The booth will also have security personnel to look after the trolleys.
