Marriage to them is just an institution. The bong gal Bipasha Basu quoted while attending the Sephora shopping mall inauguration, “প্রথমে বিয়ে হয়, বিয়ে করলে কি হয়? প্রেগনেন্ট হয়, আর তারপর আবার ডিভর্স হয়|” This has probably became the open truth to all guys and gals today. She has been in Mumbai for a pretty long time and got married to Karan Singh Grover. Bips is supposedly his 3rd wife. So here we can infer that marriage is just a click to these celebs.
To some extent similar picture is also in Tollywood. Rachana Banerjee, the Didi No 1 anchor got hitched to an Oriya actor Siddhanta Mahapatra. But they got divorced in the year 2004 and she literally left the Oriya film industry. Then she got married to Probal Basu and settled in Kolkata only.
Srabanti Chatterjee, the girl with a cute smile had an early marriage with Rajib Biswas who was a producer and finally Srabanti sent him a legal notice for divorce. In the year 2016, Srabanti got hitched to Krishnan Vraj who is a photographer and model by profession. They were in love for almost one year and finally decided to marry. Now srabanti has somehow managed to come out of her second relationship also in the year 2017.

Swastika Mukherjee: Swastika seems to be the most “happily confused” character in Tollywood as she is heard to be in relationship with many people of the industry only. She got married to Pramit Sen, who was a singer by profession and was the son of renowned singer Sagar Sen. That turned out to be unhappy marriage but they had a daughter named Anwesha. Swastika filed a case against him for physical and mental assault but that was not sorted out at that time. Later Swastika went into a relationship with Parambrata Chatterjee during a movie shoot and Swastika’s husband filed a case against Parambrata for adultery. Finally they got separated in the year 2010 and Parambrata decided to move to Bristol to get rid of this mess. Later Swastika was said to be in terms with director Suman Mukhopadhyay also. They went for outing in abroad also. The scandal is no more veiled but currently she looks full of activity with her projects.
June Malia: June is presently an active member of West Bengal Women commission but in her career she was heard to be in touch with many people. She was married and got two kids Shivendra and Shivangini but never disclosed her real status of marriage.
Aparna Sen: The “Teen kanya” girl has tied herself in three major relationships and probably she seems better now. Firstly at a very young age she got married to Sanjay Sen. That was considered as immature decision for being too young. But espousing Mukul Sharma was not a hasty decision. He was a famous journo and science writer of the time. Kankona Sen Sharma was their gift only. But their divorced was sorted out mutually and lastly she got married to Kalyan Roy, professor of English. Her other daughter Kamalini is also a gift to Aparna Sen.
