Tie the rope of friendship to live longer

Childhood days were the best', we have heard this frequently from many people, but childhood days doesn’t remain forever. With the passage of time people grow old and the years go by, the structure of mind also undergoes a change. During young age we had innumerable friends to hang out with but once you step in your old age you lose all connections. Hence the best thing which you can present yourself, is a great friend who can be a good companion in your old age.

Surviving old age becomes tough and one of the reasons are, the lack of social connections which results in depression and loneliness.

To cut it short, know how to mingle with new people and build strong friendship in old age to increase your longevity.       

1. Join laughter clubs to meet new people and practice laughter, which releases your stress and increases the endorphins in the mind that relaxes you.

2. Join and participate in the community activities. It’s the best thing to keep yourself occupied, because sitting idle brings negative thoughts in your mind.

3. Never be socially isolated. You can strike a conversation with your neighbours or invite them and engage yourself in some productive conversations.

4. One of the easiest medium to look for old childhood friends is through social networking sites. Moreover you can use different apps, which gives you a platform to talk to new people and be friends with them.

5. Another way of meeting new people or spending time with friends is to regularly visit libraries.
