Durga Puja has always been the favorite season for Tollywood film makers. Multiple releases during puja are nothing new to the viewers. But this year, the audience will get to see a clash of the Titans in Poila Boisha as well! As per news, there can be 4 releases this Poila Baishakh- Dev starrer ‘Kabir’, Anjan Dutta’s musical drama ‘Aami Ashbo Phirey’ Haranath Chakraborty’s ‘Kantay Kanta’ and Kaustav Roy’s ‘Shankar Mudi’. The big banners of Tolly-town have put their best bet to entertain the audience this Polia Baishak.
Well, the release of the ‘Shankar Mudi’s date is still uncertain due to the arrest of director Kaustav Roy, in connection with an alleged bank fraud case. And Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Drishtikone’ which was supposed to release on the same day has delayed for few weeks. Now, the movie will hit theatres on 27th April.
