This is how Jisshu became a part of Param’s “Sonar Pahar”

Parambrata Chatterjee’s upcoming directorial “Sonar Phar” trailer has created quite the buzz among the Bengali movie lovers. The film revolves around an old and lonely woman Uma ‘Tanuja’ and a little boy Biltu. Jisshu plays the son of the elderly woman. Speaking of the casting, Prambrata remembered how Jisshu was roped in for the part of this fairy tale movie. “I approached him because both I and Jisshu lost our mother at a tender age. So, the story of ‘Sonar Pahar’ has some connection with us.” said Param. Among the characters of Soumya and Rajdeep, Jisshu chose to play the former. The director himself will essay Rajdeep - Soumya's friend in the movie. The film releases on June 8.
