After a huge success of the national award-winning film ‘Nirbashito’, director Churni Gangly is back with a bang! The brilliant director is back behind the camera for her second film ‘Tarikh’. The press conference of ‘Tarikh’ was held at Princeton Club, where the lead star cast was present at the event. Churni Ganguly, Ritwick, Saswata Chatterjee and Raima Sen conversed with the media.
‘Tarikh’ will mainly highlight friendship, complexity of love and aspects that are larger than life. The story revolves around three characters and the effect of social media. The narrative will also throw light on the pros and cons of social media platform.
Speaking with Jiyo Bangla, the director smiled and said, “This movie will bring forth the reality and what can a social platform do. That’s a different feeling though. When I look into Ritu da’s Facebook, I still feel he is there. But he is not, virtual realities are a different thing. Well, that’s the exact feeling I am talking about.” The story will show how these three people see the world connected by Internet and for sure the director will assure that the audience stay and cherish the climax. Speaking with Saswata, “The reason why I opted for the movie is because Churni weaved a brilliant story. You will fall in love after watching it.”
