The new reason to visit Darjeeling

Tiger Hill's temperature in the morning has dropped below 8 degrees. At Sandakphu the water starts freezing after the dawn and the dusk. The temperature in Darjeeling’s  Shailshahar is around 10 degrees and sometimes it goes below 10 degrees. The tourists are enjoying the cold climate which is prevailing in the hills. The local people of the hills are wearing jackets, sweaters and caps to cover their bodies. Tiger Hill's manager Pradeep Lama stated, ‘temperature has dropped. Sometimes the temperature drops below 7 degrees. Still, at least 1500 tourists are gathering at a particular place every morning to see the sunrise’.
