‘Soorma’ is a biographical film, directed by Shaad Ali based on the historical comeback of hockey player Sandeep Singh. Sandeep Singh had been shot by a gun in 2006 and was paralyzed for two years since. In 2008, the player made an impossible comeback to international hockey! In 2009, India won the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup and later in 2012 qualified for the Olympics under his guidance.
Diljit Dosanjh plays the role of Sandeep Singh in the film. The first look of the poster is out. The poster itself projects power like the story itself.
The story itself is an inspiring one. The film will be inspirational to all who may think that life ends after being bound to a wheelchair. The film releases on the 13th July 2018.
