Google knows everything (or at least it feels that way), and now Artificial Intelligence can even tell you when you'll die (sounds crazy, right?)
The tech giant has come up with something advanced and way ahead of time. They have helped test AI computer system predict whether hospital patients will live or breathe their last. What's more incredible is that the trials have put the accuracy of AI's predictions as high as 95%. The AI can now state the length of a patient's stay in the hospital, and whether there are any chances of recovery.
Reading this article, your mind can pose the question- What makes the system so particularly accurate? Well, the answer is that it collects data, synchronising with machines, doctors’ notes, charts in PDF, etc. It works by chewing up data about patients, their age, ethnicity, and gender. With prior diagnosis, current vital signs, and lab results, it can calculate the life of any patient.
Google ‘taught’ AI how to assimilate data of 216,221 adults from two US medical centers. This means that the AI has more than 46 billion data points to hoover up; now don’t you think AI is taking all over mankind?
Although Google's AI doesn’t know subjectivity, it will soon become a unanimous soothsayer.
