The Terapanth Sports Committee in association with Jatan Lal, Anand Kumar Parakh, Amar Chand, Jai Kumar Dugar, Manick Chand Prakash,and Chand Parakhorganized the Terapanth Premier League 2019 on 26th and 27th January at the Ghas Bagan Sporting Club ground. It was a tennis ball cricket tournament.We the team of Jiyo Bangla were a prouddigital partner of this entire event.
The inauguration ceremony was on 26th January at 7.30 Am and the match started at8am.There were six teams in the league. The league was divided into two groups comprising of three teams each. It was a two-day event and on Sunday 27th January the prize distribution took place in the evening. The teams that competed against each other areARS Strikers, Sajawat Super King, Gokul Stars, Bothra Riders, Mavericks and Jain Strikers.
Cricket has always been an emotion for people living in Kolkata and everyone is very emotionally attached with this sport. So, the Terapanth Community chose this game as the medium to connect to one another and promote brotherhood.
Though all of them performed their best but Mavericks and Gokul Stars made it to the finals and Gokul Stars won the championship. Each team had 13 players namely:

The State Sports and Youth Minister, Sri Laxmi Ratan Shuklawas the chief guest at the event. The organising committee of this premiere league included ShriSandeep Kumar Daga, Shri Anand Kumar Parakh, Shri Ashish Kumar Jain, Shri Naveen Bagrecha, Shri Sanjay Samdariya, Shri Hemant Daga, Shri Dipak Nahat, Shri Rakesh Sancheti, ShriNaman, Shri Baksh Shyamsukha, Shri Ravi Chhajer, Shri Mahaveer Kumar Dugar and Shri Ashish Kumar Jain. Everyone involved in this premiere league come from a corporate background but they surely have the sportsman spirit in them.They gave their one hundred percent and made the tournament a successful event.
