Last year, in 2023, Tata Motors launched several new cars and SUVs for customers. As the new year approaches, they are not slowing down! In 2024, the company is gearing up to introduce several new four-wheelers. Among them, two are SUVs, and one is a hatchback. It's been observed that among these cars, one is an SUV, and one is an EV.
Let's delve into these cars and learn all about them.
Firstly, let's talk about the 'Tata Nexon SUV'.
At the beginning of last year, in January, Tata unveiled this car. However, this isn't the first time; Tata Motors has already launched two automatic transmission-equipped SUVs in the country. Those two cars are the Tata Tiago and the Tata Tigor. Now, this feature is also available on the Nexon.
The Tata Nexon, one of India's most popular compact SUVs, will feature factory-fitted turbocharged petrol engine technology, which will assist in providing excellent mileage along with performance. It will come with a 1.2-litre petrol engine with turbocharged cylinder technology. However, there won't be any new features in this car. Currently, this model may cost over one lakh rupees more.
Next up is the 'Tata Altroz Racer'.
Tata Motors has already launched this car on the market. This car has a sporty look. It will feature a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing a maximum power of 120 horsepower. This car will have over 10 horsepower more than other models. Additionally, it will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Tata Motors might launch this car on the market in June next month.
One of the company's most anticipated four-wheelers is the 'Tata Curvv'.
The car will be introduced to the market by Tata Motors in January. Although it was rumoured to be launched in June, the company has postponed it. It may launch in September. This four-wheeler will have quite a few new features compared to other cars. Along with the coupe design, smart features will be available. Additionally, this Tata Carve car will be sold with an electric battery alongside petrol and diesel.
It will have a 1.2-litre petrol engine capable of producing a maximum power of 125 horsepower. This car will also have a turbocharged petrol engine. The car will also offer a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The electric variant will have a range of 450 to 500 kilometres on full charge.
If Tata Curvv isn't launched on the market this year, then surely it will hit the market in early 2025.
