Tata Motors has bolstered its Nexon lineup, unveiling an impressive array of 96 trims across both petrol and diesel variants, along with manual and automatic transmissions. By emphasising choice, customers can further personalise their ride with a selection of 15 vibrant colours.
The spotlight shines on the diesel variant, featuring a potent 1.5-litre engine boasting 113 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. Paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an advanced AMT unit, the Nexon promises a dynamic driving experience.
Efficiency is a key focus, with the diesel MT version claiming an impressive mileage of 23.23 kmpl. However, real-world testing paints a slightly different picture, with the Nexon clocking in at 14.04 kmpl in urban settings, closely aligned with the MID's indication of 14.00 kmpl. On the open road, the Nexon showcased its prowess, delivering a highway mileage of 21.18 kmpl, although the MID reported an even higher figure of 24.10 kmpl. These combined efforts culminate in an average consumption of 15.82 kmpl.
Practicality meets convenience with a fuel tank capacity of 44 litres, offering drivers a commendable range of 696km on a full tank. But Nexon doesn't stop there. It's set to diversify its portfolio, with plans for a CNG version on the horizon, complementing the existing lineup.
