Talks on the appointment of New Mayor

On Thursday the honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee will be discussing about the appointment of new Mayor. A meeting has been scheduled in the afternoon and everything will be finalized at that time. All the municipal councilors will be present at the meeting which will take place in the auditorium near Alipore. The new mayor and the mayor's new deputy will be decided at the meeting. According to the law, any one of the remaining nominated councilors can be the new Mayor within one month of cancellation or removal of mayor. But this time the Trinamool Congress party leaders have decided to follow another path. The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wants to appoint someone who has not been elected as the counselor but has enough experience as an administrator. The Chief Minister  may make Firhad Hakim or Arup Biswas the new Mayor. The citizens are keeping their fingers crossed and they are waiting for the final decision
