It has come to light that Swastika Mukherjee gave a lowdown on her Puja shopping this year.
Swastika Mukherjee revealed with a smile that no one would believe that her daughter Mani (Anwesha) and she still clash over the number of dresses they purchase during Durga Puja. They used to do the same among their cousins. Those days were full of fun. Swastika, who loves to drape saris during Durga Puja, is very much meticulous about the fit of her blouses.
The beautiful actress expressed that she loves to wear the six yards for every occasion, as saris make a woman look sensuous as well as elegant. She specified that her blouse has to stand out in the mob. Particularly this year, she is going to flaunt with neon colors. Apart from that, she also considers her mother's new saris as hers. Certainly, she makes it a point to team up her matching blouses with mother's new saris.
According to her, if Saptami night is for a casual maxi dress, Ashtami attire has to be traditional. Swastika, who has purchased 8 to 10 pair of new shoes and bags for this Puja, recalled that on Saptami, she will definitely proceed with pandal-hopping the entire night with friends & family. She got a pretty maxi dress made to wear on that day. However on Ashtami, she is planning to wear something traditional. She considers this red-and-white gorod, which is specially designed by her sister, is just the correct apparel for the event. She added that last year on Ashtami, she made her way to a nightclub in a sari, which was cool.
She claimed that in case she comes across a beautiful bag or a pair of shoes, she simply can't resist them. She thinks that she has to get a new wardrobe just to store her shoes and bags.
It can be well understood that that is a true confession of a shopaholic! The gorgeous damsel laughed while commenting that even if she is an actress, she would like to go for pandal-hopping and enjoy street food at midnight during Pujas. Of course, this is her Saptami saaj.
She disclosed that she has countless shoes and bags in her wardrobe. Any name, it is there in her collection. In addition, she can spend hours to pick out a perfectly-matching blouse to go with her sari.
Swastika expressed with a smile that she loves the color scheme of this sari. She has decided to proceed without any accessory with her attire. However, her fuchsia pink lipstick is mandatory.
The actress emphasized that on Ashtami, she only prefers gorod. Moreover, this year, it will be a bit special as her sister has improvised on the design.
