On Sunday CM Mamata Banerjee expressed her opinion at an event. She stated, road accidents happen and the government should play an important role in reducing the number of road accidents.
She stated, the number of road accidents has decreased since the launch of the Safe Drive Save Life project. This initiative was taken in the month of November and this special day is celebrated every year on the third Sunday of November.
State Government has been trying to stop road accidents for a long time. The Safe Drive Save Life project has been successful because of their efforts and the Supreme Court appreciated the state government’s initiative a few days ago. This will surely set an example and the citizens are looking forward to it.
