The State Government is ready to ensure mandatory safety measures for citizens. Now Vivo IPL 2018 is going strong and the crowd demands proper security. Apart from special trains and other transport, an eight feet tall wall is being constructed along the southern part of the Calcutta High Court main building.
According to one of the State Government officials, law enforcement department had asked them to construct a wall on the side facing Eden Gardens. This is necessary for the safekeeping of the common people. Work is going on and the expected time for completion is within three months.
Initially, there might be some teething problems but it will ultimately benefit the users.
