In a bid to reduce the congestion of passengers during the upcoming Pujo festival, the North-Eastern Railways has decided to operate four additional Pujo Special trains.
These special trains will connect New Jalpaiguri with Sealdah, Howrah, and back, providing a convenient travel option for festival-goers.
Here are the details of the Pujo Special trains:
Train No. 82315 (Sealdah to New Jalpaiguri):
Departure: October 21, 2023, at 23:40 from Sealdah.
Arrival: October 22, 2023, at 10:45 at New Jalpaiguri.
Train No. 82316 (New Jalpaiguri to Sealdah):
Departure: October 22, 2023, at 12:45 from New Jalpaiguri.
Arrival: October 23, 2023, at 00:30 at Sealdah.
Train No. 82301 (Howrah to New Jalpaiguri):
Departure: October 25, 2023, at 23:55 from Howrah.
Arrival: October 26, 2023, at 10:45 at New Jalpaiguri.
Train No. 82302 (New Jalpaiguri to Howrah):
Departure: October 26, 2023, at 00:10 from New Jalpaiguri.
Arrival: October 27, 2023, at 12:45 at Howrah.
Additionally, Pujo Special Train No. 03103 (Sealdah to New Jalpaiguri) will run five trips from October 28 to November 25, 2023, departing from Sealdah at 23:40 and arriving at New Jalpaiguri at 10:45 on the following day. The return journey, Train No. 03104 (New Jalpaiguri to Sealdah), will also operate during the same period, departing at 12:45 and arriving at Sealdah at 00:30.
Another Pujo Special Train, Train No. 03027 (Howrah to New Jalpaiguri), will provide five trips from November 1 to November 29, 2023. It will depart from Howrah at 23:55 and arrive at New Jalpaiguri at 10:45 the next day. The return journey, Train No. 03028 (New Jalpaiguri to Howrah), will follow the same schedule during the same period.
Travellers on these Pujo Special Trains will have the opportunity to pass through destinations like Bandel, Azimganj Jn, Malda Town, Barsoi, and Kishanganj, making their journey more comfortable and enjoyable during the festive season.
