Innovative ideas in Bengali film industry have allowed the audience to witness some different films. Keeping in mind of the latest trend, director Sourav Mukhopadhay has started working on his film which is based on the renowned novel Mangrove by Partha Sarathi Gayen. Notably, the film is produced by NPG Tradelink Pvt. Ltd and is presented by Md. Bakibur Rehman.
Precisely, Mangrove is a film which will be showcasing the different contrasts of social roots and the anguish felt due to such contrasts. In fact, the film represented numerous bitter realities for survival as well as to find the vision of life.
Nigel Akkara, who has showed his talent as an actor in Shibo Prasad Mukherjee’s brilliant creation Muktodhara, is playing the central character of the movie. Nigel plays a medical student in the film, who will be involved in various subplots of the movie. Moreover, the film also stars Arpita Mukherjee, Dulal Lahiri, Dolon Ray, Chitra Sen, Fayej Khan, Satinath Mukherjee, Aindrilla Chakraborty along with Mou Bhattacharya.
Apart from the above, the smoking hot item dancer from Bollywood Rakhi Sawant, who is known for her innumerable item songs is going to add up spice to this film with what she is well known for.
The music of the film is being composed by Subrata and Barun. It has come to light that legendary Kumar Sanu, sensational Zubeen Garg along with Rupankar, Srikanta Acharya and Raghav has lent their voice for the songs of the film.
Regarding the film, the director Sourav Mukhopadhay elaborated that this is a film which is made in lines with social roots, a film which has the execution of ruthless realities. Specifically, the novel has touched him a lot and this is the reason why he has adapted it into his film.
When interrogated about inclusion of Nigel Akkara as a part of the cast, the director revealed that Nigel is a perfect actor to justify the character. He added that Nigel is a potent actor who portrays a lot of emotional elements in his performance.
Above all, the director is very confident about the movie. He clarified that the film has every emotional quotient that an ordinary man is familiar. He mentioned that through his film, common people will be exposed to all the obstacles of this heterogeneous socio-economic society.
One of the main attractions of the film is the item dance of Rakhi Sawant. This Tollywood film is going to present a hot, spicy, horny item song which will certainly create a benchmark in Bengali film industry. Subsequently, Rakhi Sawant disclosed that she is very confident about the movie. She speculated that her pelvic movements will definitely raise the mercury and will carry the item dance in Bengali industry to a new level. Additionally, she praised the director for his hard work.
On the other side, producer Md. Bakibur Rehman is glad with his current production. He felt proud to be a part of this movie and claimed that the story is so realistic, he felt very touchy when he heard it. He too is confident about this movie. He informed that he desires to explore the Bollywood movies. He highlighted that he is looking forward to begin a large venture in Tollywood through this movie.
