For the rural unemployed youths, State Ministry of Technical Education, Training and Skill Development commenced 52 skill development training centers in Purulia. Training centers will acquaint on computer literacy, agriculture, and beauty treatment, after completing the course trainees will get a certificate which helps them to acquire placement.
Utkarsha Bangla an initiative by Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development has inaugurated the centers. Training will be given free of cost also trainees will get Rs 50 for refreshment. IT world a private agency has made the provision to train 800 youths. Before placing them in a job the department will study their credential. To make the training programme useful it has been designed in an applied manner.
Purnendu Basu, state minister for Technical Education, Shantiram Mahato, minister for Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs department, Sandhyarani Tudu, Minister of State for Backward Classes Welfare Department, Mriganka Mahato, MP and Sujoy Banerjee presented at the programme to encourage the youths of Purulia.
