‘Sir’, the feature film by Indian director- scriptwriter Rohena Gera featuring Tilottama Shome has been selected in the Cannes Film Festival’s Critic’s Week sidebar.
‘Sir’ is one of the seven films that are competing in the film festival. Of all the seven presentations, five films are by new directors. The movie ‘Sir’ is about a love story in the backdrop of class division. The film is ready to win the Grand Prix nespresso award. The jury is supervised by the film maker Joachim Trier from Norway.
Tilottama, the girl from Tollygunj of Kolkata grew up with hopes to live the world in a different way and she has already come a long way it seems. She has done a number of offbeat films where her acting skills have been displayed in every possible way.
