Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, famously known as the 'King Khan,' was discharged from the hospital on Thursday after a brief stint following health concerns. Khan, who was admitted to K.D. Hospital in Ahmedabad, left the facility on Thursday evening.
The actor had been accompanied by his children to a cricket match on Tuesday night before experiencing a severe heat stroke. Reports of his hospitalisation had left fans worried, but they can now breathe a sigh of relief as the actor is recuperating. However, medical experts have advised him to adhere to their guidance in the coming days.
Shah Rukh Khan flew from Ahmedabad to Mumbai via a special chartered flight. Given his dehydration incident on Wednesday morning, doctors have recommended that he prioritise rest for now.
His close friend, Juhi Chawla, had previously indicated that Khan would attend the final match on May 26 if his health permitted. However, it remains to be seen whether Khan will be able to stand by the side of his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, after considering medical advice.
King Khan has been caught up in a whirlwind of activity since the beginning of the week. He had travelled to Ahmedabad to support his team, but was taken ill amidst the scorching temperatures prevalent in the city. His wife, Gauri Khan, had rushed from Mumbai to Ahmedabad upon hearing the news of his hospitalisation.
There have been no official statements regarding Khan's physical condition over the past twenty-four hours. However, his manager, Pooja Dadlani, has now provided an update. Taking to social media, Dadlani expressed gratitude on Khan's behalf, saying, "Mr. Khan thanks all his fans and well-wishers for your prayers, love, and concern. He is doing well."
Fans and well-wishers across the globe continue to send their best wishes for Khan's speedy recovery.
