In a significant development affecting commuters in West Bengal, several train services in the Sealdah branch will be suspended for two days towards the end of the week. The decision to halt these services comes in light of ongoing non-interlocking work at Dumdum.
Commencing on the 1st of March, the non-interlocking work at Dumdum is scheduled to continue until the 4th of March. Consequently, multiple local train services have been suspended until then, leading to inconvenience for the public.
