Although she has a very small role in Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘Uma’, actress Sayantani Guhanthakurta is happy to be a part of Uma. “Uma is my first film with Srijit-da and is very close to my heart,” she said in an interview. The actress will also play a pivotal part in Srijit’s “Ek Je Chilo Raja” where she plays the sister of Jisshu Sengupta. The young actress is happy to share the screen with Jaya Ehsan, who plays Jisshu’s other sister in the movie.
“We got on like a house on fire on the sets. Jaya-di is a sweetheart and is extremely supportive,” she chirped.
