Satyajit Ray, no words are enough to describe the legacy left behind by him. The man who almost spearheaded a new- wave in Indian cinema and guided it in the global arena. He was an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter graphic artist, music composer and author, widely regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of the 20th century. On his 97th birth anniversary of the legend, let’s remember a flash back of his creations. Ray worked prominently in Bengali cinema and has been regarded as one of the great directors of world cinema. Ray received numerous awards at international film festivals, including several Indian national film awards and an honorary Oscar the 64th academy awards in 1992.
