Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex accompanied Queen Elizabeth for their first royal joint trip to North-West England. The Queen and the newly married Duchess of Sussex rode the royal train to the city of Chester for a day full of events. Her Majesty and Markle officially opened the Mersey Gateway Bridge and Chester's Storyhouse Theatre. Following that, both of them had lunch at Chester Town Hall as guests of the city council. This is for the first time that the Duchess attended an event with the Majesty without her husband Prince Harry accompanying her. Thousands of fans cheered and greeted Queen Elizabeth and Meghan on their visit to the English county of Cheshire. They were seen smiling together joyfully as they opened the Mersey Gateway Bridge, one of the UK's biggest infrastructure projects lately. After that, they headed to Chester to inaugurate the Storyhouse- a library, theatre, and cinema complex. Less than a month on the new royal job, Meghan was pretty good with the protocols.
