Nobody gets one up over the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling attack. Not Virat Kohli, not AB de Villiers, and certainly not RCB. This IPL season, unless there is a miracle, Royal Challengers Bangalore will not be participating in the playoffs. The Sunrisers Hyderabad team did not bat well but yet again, they rallied along Captain Kane Williamson. Kane Williamson has been rock solid throughout this IPL and this time too, he scored 56 runs from 39 deliveries against a strong bowling line up. Credit goes to Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj for bowling impeccably and taking wickets at regular intervals. Barring Shakib Al Hasan none of the batsmen supported Kane Williamson in the middle.
In the run chase, Royal Challengers Bangalore started relatively slowly with Parthiv Patel and Virat Kohli in the middle. AB de Villiers flopped whereas the likes of Moeen Ali and Colin de Grandhomme couldn’t get past the SRH total. Credit goes to Bhuvaneswar Kumar for bowling a fantastic last over where the Hyderabad team successfully defended 12 runs. Credit goes to Sandeep Sharma and Siddharth Kaul as well for being spot on with their line and length. Although Kane Williamson dropped Kohli and Siddharth Kaul dropped Manan Vohra, the hosts triumphed.
