Richest village: What is the Richest Village in Asia?

Madhapar is the richest village in Asia. It is located in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. The population of the village is around 32,000. The majority of the residents belong to the Patel community. They have considerable wealth.

There are around 17 banks in the village to manage the wealth of all the village residents. However, some villagers have up to 7 billion rupees deposits in these banks.

According to government sources, this enormous wealth comes from abroad. There are about 20,000 houses in Madhapar. In which around 1,200 families live abroad, such as African countries, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and even America. These family members send their earnings, to local banks and post offices. This is what makes the village so prosperous.
