The people of ‘Ksharpai Pur’ area of Chandrakona (West Midnapore) can rejoice because the state government is taking an initiative for the development of that area. Under the Green City mission, five hundred light stand have been installed in the Ksharpai Pur area. Kshirpai municipality will spend more than 2 crore rupees for installing lights.
Kshirpai municipality was built in 1876 at Chandrakona, West Midnapor and there was no progress when the opposition party was in power. The area was in darkness in terms of development. The Mamata Government has ensured all-round development of local residents. Stand lights are being installed in various places. It is a small ray of hope which, if properly harnessed could just change the face of rural India.
