Bengali Singer Mahuya Banerjee released her solo album ‘Katha Debona’ penned by Sri Gautam Susmit, audio label by Srinivas Music and video label by Red Heart Entertainment on 27th April 2018 at Gallery Gold in Kolkata. Several eminent Bengali artists were present during the auspicious occasion. Eminent personalities like Sri Monomoy Bhattacharjee, Sri Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee, Sri Tarun Goswami, Sri Sovon Sundar Basu, Sri Shamik Pal, Sri Goutam Susmit, Sri Subhadeep Mukherjee, Sri Dr Sujoy Kumar Biswas and Mrs.Keka Mallick were present.
Mahuya is an upcoming and versatile Bengali singer. She is young, talented and has a beautiful voice. Her exclusive song is dedicated to the people of Kolkata. On the day of the event, she said to Jiyo Bangla, “I made song albums but that didn’t reach out to a wide range of people hence I decided to do something different. My first single was released in the year 2017 which was titled ‘Achena Shohor’ and was loved by the people of Bengal and after came two other two songs named ‘Agun-Khela’ and ‘Bhakti Geeti’ which gained wide popularity in Bengal. Hence after thinking for a year, my new song has been released. The reason for doing singles is that after uploading the song on YouTube it can reach any corner of the world but a CD has certain limitations. Moreover, it’s the age of digitalization, where people are listening to songs mostly on YouTube and Facebook.”
At last, she asked the people to listen to her song and share, hoping that people will love her new song.
