‘Rajkahini’ duo is back again

3 years after ‘Rajkahini’, actor-director duo of Srijit Mukherjee and Rituparna Sengupta is coming back together. Rajkahini was released on June 2015. They are coming together for Srijit’s next, ‘Shahjahan Regency’- a remake of director Pinaki Bhushan Mukherjee’s 1968 classic, ‘Chowringhee’, based on author Shankar's best-selling novel of the same name.

Though Rituparna is very tight-lipped about her role in this movie, according to rumours, she will be playing the role of a singer named Gauher, which is inspired by the character of Gagan in the original movie. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 15^th.
