Railways ran special trains for wanderlust souls of Bengal during Durga puja

The railways ran special trains for Durga puja starting from 22nd September earlier this year. The northern railways started the Anand Vihar Terminal- Howrah-Anand Vihar Terminal Suvidha Special Express and Ramnagar-Howrah-Ramnagar weekly pooja special trains between September 22 and November 3 to facilitate movement of holiday travellers.

The Anand Vihar-Howrah train plied from September 26 - September 29. It had scheduled stops at Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughal Sarai, Gaya, Dhanbad and Asansol stations en route in both directions.

The Ramnagar-Howrah train plied from September 22 - November 3 on Fridays and Sundays.
