Renowned badminton star PV Sindhu is all set to tie the knot. She will exchange vows on December 22 in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
This Indian star, who has won two Olympic medals, had been unable to achieve significant success in her career for 28 months. However, she recently won the Syed Modi Badminton Championship trophy last Sunday. On Monday, she revealed the beginning of a new chapter in her life. The groom is Venkata Datta Sai, an officer in an IT company. Venkata is currently serving as the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies.
Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, told the media that the two families have known each other for a long time. However, the decision to marry was finalized only a month ago. Since Sindhu will be busy with various tournaments starting in January, the wedding ceremony has been scheduled for December 22.
The wedding will take place in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Following the wedding, the families will host a reception in Hyderabad on December 24.
PV Sindhu is regarded as one of the top players in Indian sports. She clinched a silver medal in the 2016 Olympics and a bronze in the 2020 edition. In 2017, she achieved the rank of world number two in badminton. However, she couldn’t secure a medal at the recently concluded Paris Olympics. Despite this, PV Sindhu has ended the year by successfully balancing her career and personal life.
