“Quite a big exposure for the kids practicing at the sub junior level in Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy and it is in fact a good decision to use the pink ball at this level” says Wriddhiman Saha, the master of strokes now.
Sambaran Banerjee is elated to announce such a big venture at this point of time in association with Asia Sports Arena. Banerjee feels that “At the under 14 level if the kids get the exposure to play with the pink ball, then they will turn up pretty confident with the swing bowlers in the near future.”
For the past two years Sulalit Biswas is attached to this 40 overs tournament along with Sambaran Banerjee and shared his priceless views to be a part of the team. He specified the names of the kids who are now playing with “under 19 Bengal” team and encouraged the kids who are honing their skills right now. “There are big sponsors for the white-collar matches like IPL and T20 but we cannot altogether ignore the grassroot level. I am sure all the 18 teams will enjoy the tournament in the coming days because Sambaran Banerjee has himself showed immense dedication for their success. And for the guardians, let the kids enjoy the cricket tournament and make it a healthy competition” says Sulalit Biswas.
The pink ball cricket tournament commences on 26th March 2018 and the grand finale of Asia Sports Arena presents “Yo Cup” organized by Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy will be held on 29th April 2018.
