Bengali actor Phalguni Chatterjee got injuries during the shooting of director Srijit Mukherji's latest film, 'Sottyi Bole Sottyi Kichu Nei', on the first day itself. The accident occurred while filming a scene involving breaking glass on the set.
Veteran Actor Phalguni Chatterjee, suffered cuts to his body, cheeks, and face from the shattered glass. He was immediately taken to the hospital, accompanied by his son, Abir Chatterjee. The actor is getting medical attention, and his family and doctors advise him to take it easy at home.
Phalguni Chatterjee told the media that he was surprised by the incident and that his doctors had told him not to take a bath. He is confused on what should he do. He also assured everyone that he would return shooting the next day.
Arjun Chakraborty, Kaushik Sen, Kaushik Ganguly, Ritwick Chakraborty, Ananya Chatterjee, Kanchan Mullick, Anirban Chakraborty, Sohini Sarkar, Parambrata Chatterjee, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee are among the outstanding cast members of Srijit Mukherji's upcoming film.
Reportedly, after completing the indoor shoot, the production team plans to film scenes at Park Street and Howrah Bridge during the night. The film's title, 'sottyi bole sottyi kichu nei', is inspired by a popular line from a song in another of Srijit Mukherji's films, 'Baishey Sharbon'.
