Barely few weeks old, this television show has been creating the right buzz since it was first aired. A new ‘Star Jalsa’ serial ‘PhagunBou’ has already bagged the top five rank in the BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council of India) numbers for last week. The rom-com serial debuted on the television rating point (TRP) list at number five.
The top spot, however, went to Zee Bangla’s ‘Saat Bhai Champa’, while Star Jalsa’s ‘Bhojo Gobindo’ and ‘Kusum Dola’, bagged the second, and third spots respectively. The makers of ‘PhagunBou’ were anxious whether the audience would accept a series with Vikram Chatterjee in the lead. Now that the tele series has already earned the fifth place, it has assuaged their fears, sources added. Oindrilla Sen plays the female lead in this series. Apart from Oindrilla, Laboni Sarkar, and Kaushik Roy have been cast in major roles.
